Snow, snow, snow!

Finch is TRYING to find her frisbee in the snow on our deck.

Still trying.....

Chasing the frisbee

Ok....we are ready to come inside!

We have about an inch of snow outside....and it's still coming down!

Mommy, may I help??

Today I did some winter sowing (sowing seeds to place outdoors) and Scout sat near me and watched the entire time. Maybe she thought I was making cupcakes??

Fire and a Cairn Terrier

My sweet Scout loves the fireplace. I was sitting on the hearth of the fireplace and Scout jumped up on my lap. I had just finished adding another log to the fire when I smelled a burning smell...horrible smell! I looked at Scout and she had a spark on her head! I quickly put it out and Scout was unaware that anything happened. Scout was not burned and quickly snuggled back into my lap....I moved to the recliner. :)

Sardines

Scout and Finch had Sardines for dinner last night! I bought a small can (in case they didn't like it...yea, right!) and they wolfed it down. Is there anything these two won't eat?

Snow in play

Finch would not take no for an answer when she wanted to go outside. I threw the frisbee down the basement steps, but she tires of this quickly....wouldn't you? :)
Late this afternoon I went outside to sweep the snow away from the hot tub so I can get into it tonight. Finch, of course, grabbed the opportunity to play with her frisbee. Her sweet face won the battle and I threw the frisbee for her (from on top of the deck). Her frisbee has a hole in it and she keeps getting her head stuck inside...I think the frisbee has seen it's last days!

Have space....will play. DH is out of town, so Scout and Finch made use of the space on the bed...doesn't anyone want to sleep??
We have about .5 inch of snow on the ground this morning...just enough for the girls to leave wet paw marks all over the kitchen floor.
