I can't believe how fast this plant has grown! We were out taking pictures of the garden and I wanted to take a picture next to something so you can imagine the size. Scout and Finch were the perfect solution!
My two love their treats....what dog doesn't?? The latest scare (of tainted dog food and treats) has given me motivation to make their treats. I opened up a shop on Etsy to sell my treats to other concerned dog owners.
Scout and Finch have had lots of fun "testing" the treats!
Scout loves to sit outside and just ponder life. We have had beautiful weather for the past few days, and Scout loves to sit outside and watch her silly sister catch balls. Finch likes to walk around with the ball (or frisbee) in her mouth. On the plus side, it helps muffle her barks! Yes, she even barks with the ball/frisbee in her mouth...silly dog!
Scout and Finch usually "take turns" sleeping on this bed. For the past week they have been sleeping together! Yes, they sleep with their head hanging off the bed. :)
We built gates, on our deck, so our Cairn Terriers could have a place to play and spend time outdoors (we don't have a fenced in yard yet). I was watering some plants today and I shot this picture. Finch (left) always sticks her head through the rails....cracks me up! Scout (right) likes to lie down and rest her head on the bottom rail.
Where did all the warm weather go?? Scout and Finch have been enjoying the nice weather but now it's in the 20's! Finch doesn't seem to care if it's cold out, but Scout wants to come inside as soon as she is outside!
Today I did some winter sowing (sowing seeds to place outdoors) and Scout sat near me and watched the entire time. Maybe she thought I was making cupcakes??
My sweet Scout loves the fireplace. I was sitting on the hearth of the fireplace and Scout jumped up on my lap. I had just finished adding another log to the fire when I smelled a burning smell...horrible smell! I looked at Scout and she had a spark on her head! I quickly put it out and Scout was unaware that anything happened. Scout was not burned and quickly snuggled back into my lap....I moved to the recliner. :)
Scout and Finch had Sardines for dinner last night! I bought a small can (in case they didn't like it...yea, right!) and they wolfed it down. Is there anything these two won't eat?
